The revolutionary reverse rotation design lifts material off the ground, improving the cutting action with one single pass, reducing horsepower requirements and knife wear or damage. Competitive models using forward turning rotors with fixed carbide or swinging hammers, drive uncut material into the soil with no chance to recut for finer mulching.

Efficiently cuts and mulches up to 6 inch diameter material with as little as 38 hydraulic horsepower. Intermittently cuts up to 12 inch or larger diameter material.

Selectively cuts and mulches any unwanted trees or brush. Cuts trees, brush, vines or grass with the same knives. Reduces job site clean-up and impact on terrain.

Nine hydraulic motors to choose from, 22-54 gpm to perfectly match your skid-steer's system.

Note: Production rate will vary depending on the actual hydraulic horsepower available. A flow and pressure test is strongly recommended on your power unit before selecting a TimberAx model. Hydraulic Horsepower = Flow x Pressure x .90 ÷ 1714

The material is pulled in between the blades and the adjustable shear bar processes it to a consistent particle size.

Claw Hooks on Tree Pusher Bar

Adjustable re-cutter bar gauges gap between knives and bar. Anti-wrap deflectors feed material into knives and protect bearings.

Blades can be sharpened on the machine.

3-groove banded belts with spring-loaded idler and taper-lock sheeves

Relief valve protected, heavy-duty, hydraulic motor with external bearing block to support side-load from belt tension

*Our hoses should fit most makes, however, you are responsible for checking the required
length on your own machine. A 1/2” x 126” case drain hose will be provided (-8 male 0-ring,
thread size 3/4”). Be sure to properly route hoses as described in the operator’s manual.
Quick couplers for hoses are not included.
